Buck Knives® in the News

Apr 17, 2013

Buck Knives is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) by sponsoring The Great Elk Tour. The Great Elk Tour, RMEF’s traveling exhibit, has already begun showcasing an impressive array of trophy elk across the U.S. during its 2013 tour.

“It is a pleasure and honor to work with The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation,” said Bob George, Director of Sales and Marketing for Buck Knives. “The future of hunting is dependent on conservation. We wholeheartedly support the mission to ensure the future of elk and other wildlife, as well as our hunting heritage.”

With more than 110 years of experience in the field, Buck Knives proudly supports organizations and people who share a dedication to preservation and enjoyment of America’s wildlife resources.

“Buck Knives understands the importance of our efforts and aids greatly in the growth of our reach” said Steve Decker, Vice President of Marketing for RMEF. “Our sponsors make it possible for tens of thousands of people to enjoy the tour every year.”

“Our knives create memories and those memories cultivate into tradition,” added George. “Conservation efforts from organizations such as RMEF are vital in order to ensure that these traditions are passed on to future generations.”
