For 2024, Buck Knives is adding a blade shape variation to the Deploy and Mini Deploy Series. These automatic knives with a drop point blade shape were originally launched in 2023 and have been a best seller ever since.
This year, we’re introducing the same style and quality with a Wharncliffe blade.
Offered in three different colors and two sizes, the Deploy measures 5.00” when closed and boasts a 3.125” Wharncliffe blade. The Mini Deploy measures within the California legal limit for autos at 3.75” when closed, plus a compact 1.75” blade.
Both the Deploy and Mini Deploy feature a recess button for an easy and fully automated action. As an added safety feature, the full-sized Deploy also includes a button lock.
The standard model comes with a 154CM stainless steel blade, while the Blackout Pro style of each size is upgraded to S35VN stainless steel with a Cerakote coated blade for additional corrosion resistance.
The Wharncliffe blade shape is unique with a curved spine and acute tip, making this blade exceptionally sturdy. The curved spine creates a blunt front edge, minimizing the risk of accidental piercing when in use, yet the acute tip is great for any detailed work.
Finally, both sizes come with a stainless steel Cerakote coated removable pocket clip. The Deploy pocket clip is also reversible for an ambidextrous carry.
